ETHICAL PORN: PLEASURE FOR EVERY-BODY!

Do you find porn boring, repetitive, fake, or hard to believe? Maybe also heteronormative, violent, and misogynist? Do you feel it’s always the same characters and roles and that they don’t represent you?

The porn we grew up watching is often all of this, and it is also a ferocious and profitable industry that in many cases undermines workers’ rights, while imposing abusive, non-consensual practices and conditions.

But what if there were other narratives and ways of making porn? Ones that show a multiplicity of colors, sizes, shapes, practices, care, and ways of experimenting pleasure beyond genitalia? Whose performers are not playing the same old script over and over, and can improvise and experiment, thus expanding the horizons of pleasure?

These kinds of porn have the power not only to turn us on (which is a lot) but to (de)construct how we experience our sexuality.
