Social Hubs

Have fun and meet friends old and new without leaving your camping area

Every good neighbourhood has a community square - or as we say in Portugal, a "Praça". This is a place where people meet up to socialise, banter, have fun, engage and share experiences.

This was the seed of inspiration that led to the birth of the Social Hubs in Boom 2016. The idea was to create spaces where Boomers could connect, have the opportunity to get to know each other, and have deep, meaningful, fun interactions within the camping areas.

There are five of these fabulous, cosy community spaces spread across the festival and they are all equipped with community kitchens, first aid points, helpful, friendly stewards.
