Samadhi
An Area Dedicated to the Art of Meditation.
Nestled on the far end of the Being Fields, the Samadhi meditation area offers a serene and picturesque retreat overlooking the tranquil waters of the lake. Established in 2022, this space was created to honor one of the most profound and transformative practices for spiritual and personal growth: meditation.
The name "Samadhi" is derived from Sanskrit, reflecting a state of consciousness that transcends waking, dreaming, and deep sleep. As described by Zen teacher John Daido Loori Roshi, Samadhi is "a slowing down of our mental activity through single-pointed concentration." In its deepest form, Samadhi represents a complete absorption where the sense of self dissolves, and the boundaries between subject and object disappear.
The Samadhi space is thoughtfully designed to encourage introspection and inner peace, with its shaded, tranquil environment providing a perfect setting for deep meditation. We invite you to immerse yourself in this sacred space, turn your senses inward, and explore the inner beauty that lies within. May this sanctuary serve as a source of peace and contribute to the well-being and happiness of all who visit.
The program is continuously updated as we journey towards the festival dates.
