These are happy times! After many months of dry weather, much needed rain has finally nourished the Boomland. And with just a few months to go until we swing open the festival gates, the production crew has taken things up a gear and is busy working at top speed.
At the same time, our hearts and minds are always aligned with your intentions, and we’ve kept a diligent eye on the queries we’re receiving through our channels. So we thought we’d take this chance to address some of those queries.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Every single person should have the freedom to enjoy Boom to the maximum and one of our core principles is to ensure that Boom is comfortable and accessible to one and all. This is why our Special Needs service has been designed for Boomers with disabilities.
Facilities and assistance will be readily available for those who need it. If this sounds like you, then please register your details with our fabulous Special Needs team by emailing us at [email protected] by the 31st of March at the latest.
YOUNG DRAGONS
This special area is dedicated to kids between 3 and 12 years old and their parents, and comprehends different playgrounds as well as tons of different activities. So, If you’re coming to Boom with your family, be sure to register the younger ones in the Young Dragons’ area! This will allow us to adapt the area accordingly and ensure that every child’s needs are met.

BOOM BUS
Yes, Boom Bus tickets are still available for those with a festival ticket. At this moment in time, you can purchase return tickets (both-ways) only. One-way tickets to Lisbon and Madrid Airports can only be purchased at the festival. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TICKETS
As all tickets are personalised and non-transferrable, tickets acquired through third parties are not valid - please do not purchase tickets through other Boomers or via auction websites. Boom Festival tickets and Boom Bus tickets can ONLY be acquired through our website, network of ambassadors and official partners.
VOLUNTEERS, WORKERS & JOB OPENINGS
It is the co-creative spirit of the global Boomer that makes Boom what it is. We are overwhelmed by the number of Boomers who have expressed their passion to join the team for the 2018 edition! Online applications to participate in this edition’s program have now closed.
However, there is still good news though for those who want to contribute as either workers or volunteers. Applications for these positions will remain open until the end of this month, so there’s a chance to apply if you get your submission to us by the 31st of March at 23:59 GMT.
