RADICAL LOVE MEDICINE: AYAHUASCA PEACEBUILDING IN THE MIDDLE EAST

In the spring of 2022 a group of Palestinians and Israelis travelled to Spain to attend a unique ayahuasca peacebuilding program. The participants came to heal collective traumas, create a community, find new insights for peace, and act upon them.

Such collective intention, and the program built around it, has shifted the usual healing dynamics in this space – from personal healing to the healing of the in-between. As a result, the whole spectrum of relational and emotional processes took place: grief, pain, anger, but also joy, celebration, peace and love.

In this talk, Imperial College psychedelic researcher Leor Roseman, will focus on the process participants went through – coming from a wounded land into a new shared loving community and back into the same land.
