THE FRONTIERS OF ART AND TECH: THE IMAGINATION PARADOX

Panel with Mynah Marie, Julian Reyes, Amos Gaynes, quendera and Batuhan Bintas

Once upon a time, we believed art was the one field that was strictly human, but recent developments in technology are proving us wrong. Poetry, music, lyrics, images, and much more are now being generated by AI, re-shaping our reality and the way we think about human imagination in unprecedented ways.

As immersive virtual worlds become more sophisticated and prominent in our lives, is our ability to use our imagination slowly becoming irrelevant? If the impossible can now be made possible in a parallel world, how do we redefine our concept of what’s “real”? And do coders and engineers even realize, or care about, the massive role they play in influencing our culture?

Join moderator Mynah Marie and panelists Julian Reyes, Amos Gaynes, quendera and Batuhan Bintas to explore the frontiers of art and tech.

But also, what are the ethical dimensions of human-machine collaboration and the replacement of human musicians by machine-generated art?
