In recent years we’ve been witnessing an increasing interest in psychedelic research. It is fair to consider that all was pointing to a new era for science. Simultaneously, the Covid-19 outbreak forced societies to diminish their in-person social interactions, thus impacting interpersonal relationships and our behaviours with one another.
For 34 years, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) has been advocating for drug policy reform, educating and conducting research. We spoke with its founder and executive director, Rick Doblin, on part of their methodology, latest findings, and the impacts of the pandemic on mental health.
