Kannabeira is a mind changing project designed for spreading cannabis culture, born out of the love for this plant and the great gifts it can bring to Humanity. Cannabis sativa has been a taboo for the past 50 years, a product of defamation and anti-drug policies, while throughout all the thousands of years before it has been a sacred and infinitely useful plant for very distinct civilizations across the globe.
The Portuguese and Spanish discovered the world on hemp sail and rope, mandated to carry barrels of hemp seed by royal edict. It is the most genetically diverse plant in the world, and did you know that in 2016, a 2,700 year old corpse in the Gobi desert was found buried with cannabis, arranged in a ritualistic manner? It is a shame the oldest technology known to man, used to make anything from clothing and housing to medicinal creams and salves, has been demonized and classified as a drug by public perception.
