Dela Moontribe plays bass music spanning a range that includes drum and bass, bass music, psychill, downtempo, and techno. Dub, tribal, funk, hip hop, tech, industrial, and trance elements infuse her music, joining deep baselines and thundering bottom ends. dela’s sets are a lyrical and psychedelic experience that reflect her resolute positivity and energy for life.

Dela has been DJing since 1999 and has released tracks on Desert Trax, Ball of Waxx, Shivlink Records, and Soulfood Music. Her collaborative bass music project with producer Brian Saitzyk, called Trikaya, has releases on Soul Resonance.

Dela is also a resident and organizer of Southern California’s legendary Moontribe Collective. Since 1993, Moontribe’s full moon desert gatherings have been at the core of Southern California’s underground electronic music scene.

Over the years, she’s been invited to play at at events such as Oregon Eclipse, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, Lightning in a Bottle in Southern California, Symbiosis Gathering in Northern California, the Shambhala Music Festival in Canada, The Great Convergence in Egypt, Rainbow Serpent in Australia, Outlook Festival in Croatia, Utopia in Portugal, Tribal Gathering in Panama, and with other Southern California crews like Green Sector, Terrakroma, Serenity Gathering, Subtract Music, Compound, and Noise Revolt.

She has shared the stage with artists such as Alix Perez, Spectrasoul, dBridge, Sam Binga, Xtrah, Gerra & Stone, Developer, G Jones, Desert Dwellers, Thriftworks, Random Rab, Mr. Bill, Phutureprimitive, Kaminanda, Kayla Scintilla, Whitebear, Stephan Jacobs, Supersillyus Hanna, Mumukshu, kLL sMTH, Sixis, spacegeishA, and Deya Dova.
